Lincoln Benefit Life Insurance Took My Money!
Lincoln Benefit Life
2940 South 84th Street
Lincoln, Nebraska 68501-0469
www.accessallstate.com
I signed up for a term life policy 4 years ago that was supposed to be switched to a "whole life" policy after the first year. The way it was explained to me (because I didn't even want to sign up for the term because it was too expensive - $1200) was that after the first year I could switch to the whole life policy which cost $5000 and get a credit for the $1200 for the first year which is what I did. The insurance broker faxed me over the pages on a rush basis after the first year to switch the policy and I faxed them back to her the same day. What I believe was the terms and conditions page had been recopied so many times that you can't even read it. A few weeks later the policy book was delivered to me by the agent. The way she had described the policy was that my money would only grow so according to what she told me I should have $15000 plus interest. What I have now is nothing. I in theory have $12000 because they deduct "costs" and "expenses" - none of which she told me when she was selling me the policy. She told me the reason is because when she was explaining the policy to me her laptop computer wouldn't allow her to show me the costs and expenses. Another feature she failed to tell me about is that I have to be in the policy for 20 years! If I pull out in advance I forfeit $14300. When I received my last statement I didn't understand the costs and expenses and called up Lincoln Benefit to find out what was going on and I found out then for the first time that Lincoln Benefit (my insurance company) no longer sells whole life policies and I had been signed up for an "adjustable flexible" policy. I explained that I had never even heard my insurance broker utter those words and that she had only referred to the policy as a whole life policy. My agent had never told me about costs and expenses and never explained the $14300 default fee if I pulled out before

Digital Cable is all Skips and black screens!
I have been noticing alot lately that many channels on Time Warner Cable El Paso skip and go black. It is happening on channels like FX, USA, TBS, TNT, AMC etc. When watching a program, the screen shows alot of digital skipping and then goes black and then corrects itself. After 30 seconds it does it again. It is very distracting and takes away from following a program. Time Warner needs to fix this problem. It is getting to the point where I want Satellite back even though I dumped that a year ago for lying to me. Please fix this problem. It is getting out of hand!!!

Did not receive the product I paid for
Sent a check for macadamia nuts, it was cashed in a few days. I waited and never recieved them. After countless e-mails and phone calls, they finally answered one of my e-mails and told me to reorder. I reordered and waited and waited but never received my order. They have my money and did not send me what I paid for. It has been well over a month since the check was cashed.

Fast Fix = Bad Service
I recently became engaged (a little over 2 weeks ago) and Fast Fix has successfully turned what is supposed to be a happy time into a major headache. I noticed that my solitaire diamond was loose in the setting. I took it to a jeweler (not the original jeweler that had set the diamond because I could not get to his shop before it closed) and he said that the diamond would have to be re-set because one of the corners had slipped out of the prong. The jeweler I took it to wanted me to leave my ring with him for a couple of days, which I didn't want to do because I had just gotten the ring. So, to solve the problem, my fiance suggested we take the ring to Fast Fix. He had taken some jewelry to one of their locations in the past for repairs, sizing, etc., and was confident they would do a good job, plus it only take an hour or two. Well, the first time we went into the store, I told the employee what the problem was and he agreed that it was loose and needed to be reset, and he also talked me into rhodium plating the ring. We agreed to the services and left for about an hour. When we came back, the employee that had taken the ring wasn't there, but the "jeweler" (and I use the term jeweler VERY LOOSELY!) gave me the ring to inspect and right away I could tell that the diamond was still crooked in the setting. I pointed this out to him and he took the ring back and looked at it for a minute and then said that it wasn't crooked, he said that one of the prongs was just longer than the other 3 and he could grind it down for me!! I just looked at this man in amazement! How could he be a "jeweler" and suggest such a thing?!?! I again told him "no, look at it, the diamond is crooked, it needs to be reset." He looked at it again and said oh, yes, it needs to be re-set. Wow. It took me pointing that out for him to see it? That should have been my first clue as to the expertise I was dealing with. He said that he could re-set the stone for me, but it would take 2

Fuddruckers Bread is always stale at El Paso store
This is the 3rd time Ive spent the big bucks on the burgers at fudruckkers and the bread is stale again at El paso's west side store. I have notified the manger twice.
Chili Chees dogzilla bread was stale this time as well.
The whole deal of Fuddruckers is the bread. That is what makes a great burger.

Time Warner DVR is too slow
Ive been suffering through the Time Warner DVR Experience for quite some time now. The user interface is slow to respond and often times crashes, When I call the tech support they tell me to unplug it for 30 minutes and then call back later.
It doesnt work all the time and it is slow.
I recomend TIVO for the ultimaate DVR experieince. I just got one and it blows away the DVR that comes free from the cable company.
Plus you can undelete mistakes on TIVO, download music from your computer, tranfer from Tivo to Ipod, Share home movies with your family Tivo users.
TIVO ROCKS
