Response: Apex Mortgage Unethical Treatment
It is unfortunate that an extremely useful service of this type cannot better screen its entries for fraud. Ms. Landers has patently failed in telling any semblance of truth regarding this matter. She neglected to state that she wrote a POSTDATED check for her appraisal that should never have been accepted by the appraiser in the first place. She sought to obtain a copy of the appraisal from me when her check had not even cleared the bank. The reason she had to get a copy of the appraisal from the appraiser was because that's who the check was written to, and she needed to replace the postdated check by paying cash to receive a copy of the appraisal. I authorized the appraiser to give Ms. Landers a copy of the appraisal as required by law. She continues to harass me regarding sending her an emailed copy of her appraisal when she already has a copy. Contrary to her admission, Ms. Landers has been the one who has sent disparaging emails after being I repeatedly asked her to no longer contact me regarding this matter. Lastly, Ms. Landers could not refinance her properties because she has failed to pay her mortgage on those properties for the last two months, causing her score to plummet and thus making it impossible to refinance these properties. To further aggravate the matter, Ms. Landers could not provide any documentation regarding the legitimacy of her "business" which is nothing more than a hobby, nor has she filed her taxes in several years. Not once did I mislead Ms. Landers regarding the status of her loans, and I have either returned every phone call or responded to her emails promptly and professionally. It is her fiscal mismanagement and poor judgment which has caused her current financial plight. It is still a mystery to me how she was able to purchase the properties in the first place without this basic documentation required to obtain a mortgage of practically any kind. I hope this will suffice to resolve this matter in this forum.
